I'm detecting some of the promised smoke, though it leans more towards sulfur than peat and sweetness. Fortunately, the sulfur notes are subtle, and the green apple and pineapple offer enough sweetness to balance it out. I had hoped for an experience similar to Longrow 18 based on the description. The sulfur might be an issue for some, but at a quarter of the price of Longrow, it's smooth, fruity, and a good value.
