Grangestone 25 Year Blended Scotch Whisky

An update: I had the opportunity to compare this 25-year-old expression with two others. Visually, it was lighter in color than one, while the other was darker, reflecting their aging processes. Despite similar cask finishing, the influence here is subtle. The aromas of these three are comparable. On the palate, one of the others exhibits more oak, but this one leans towards citrus and sweetness. Considering its price point, this offers exceptional value and is a very satisfying whiskey.

This Scotch was quite unexpected. Considering its cost, it's an excellent purchase; a 25-year-old Highland Single Malt for approximately $115 is a fantastic bargain. It offers notes of sweet honey, butterscotch, and a hint of pepperiness. The palate continues with honey and butterscotch, leading to a well-rounded finish. It bears a resemblance to Royal Brackla, but at a significantly lower price point, as a 21-year-old Royal Brackla costs around $230.

A gentle aroma of caramel apple. The palate echoes this, though the body is somewhat lacking for its age. Oak influence is minimal, but the warmth is well-integrated.

This is fantastic for 99 USD. Wonderful flavor that isn't overpowering, and it's incredibly smooth.
