About this bottle
This rum is pot-distilled using local Ord River Valley wet-season rainwater and aged in oak barrels that will later house Hoochery's Raymond B Whisky. Since the Kununurra Sugar Mill closed in 2009, Spike imported a cane crusher from Colombia. Hoochery Distillery now cultivates over 3 hectares of sugarcane on its farm, which is hand-cut and crushed for all rum production. This tasting sample was from Vat 36, bottled on 09/16/2015. It is presently only available in Australia.
