Smokier than most ryes - not unlike a bourbon, making me question if this was blended - with lots of biscuit flavors before clove and licorice take over. Complex mix of unusual, but complementary, rye notes.

Consumed on the rocks. Remarkably clean and smooth for a rye whiskey. The nose has smoky and citrus notes. The palate is predominantly oaky. It's highly satisfying and suitable for regular enjoyment.
Purchased at the Union Square Green Market in December of 2018. It was quite good.
