Old Perth was an originally lost blended Scotch whisky, first created by Peter Thomson in the early 20th century. It has been revived by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, a company operated by one of Scotland's most established whisky families. This Cask Strength Blended Malt expression, matured in sherry casks, was bottled at a significant 58.6% alcohol by volume.

It reminds me of everything I dislike about McAllen and heavily sherried blended whiskies. The kind like Famous Grouse, Bell's, etc. It's acceptable. But I wouldn't be in a hurry to purchase it.
A potent spirit, certainly something to consider after a cask strength peated expression.
Too much alcohol. Nice sherry notes, but the alcohol overwhelms it.
