A very deep amber hue. Sweet aroma. Definitely sweet on the palate, and young. Vanilla from the initial aging in new casks for 15 months, with the sweetness of the rum present. Certainly a distinct type of spirit. I believe it will be excellent in an old fashioned.
Incredibly enjoyable, with notes of cinnamon bubblegum, poached peaches, and caramelized brown sugar.
Smooth, I detect a hint of the rum, very pleasing!
