Oak is prominent initially, followed by grass/wheat ("grains"). Adding 3 drops of water to the glass reduces the "alcohol" impact on the nose and taste. It then reveals more of the "grass" & "grains" characteristics of the whiskey. There is a persistent "high palate" (meaning "roof of your mouth") sensation that remains after tasting & swallowing the whiskey. Considering it's only a 2-year-plus Tennessee Whiskey, it's not too bad. Personally, I prefer whiskeys & bourbons aged longer. Overall, I'd rate it a "6" out of "10"… just needing more time aging in the barrel (in other words, "maturing").
