Delightfully sweet aroma. Definitely picking up honey and brown sugar, along with a candy corn note. The flavor isn't as sweet as the smell, beginning with some burnt caramel and vanilla, swiftly followed by ample oak, leather, and coffee or a dark tea. There's a slight floral hint that suggests tea. A touch of brown sugar and perhaps banana appears at the end. The finish is moderate with more oak than anticipated from prior commentary. It's remarkably smooth for its strength, as expected given its age. Shameless plug, if you're at the distillery, definitely try the modjeskas. They are my favorite chocolates from any of the distilleries and they paired exceptionally well with this pour!

Nose - Banana bread, toffee crunch, there's some lemon zest like a lemon bar, lots of baked goods, a sprinkle of baking spice on top. Palate - More of that toffee, like a toffee cake with cinnamon that lies over a layer of icing. There's more of that lemon bar that comes through. Finish - Light, some baking spice and vanilla icing.

Ayana Warden 4.8

Full-bodied and robust. Rich and sweet with notes of caramel and dried fruit. Just enough warmth to confirm its authenticity as bourbon, yet still enjoyable neat.

Virginia Fay 4.5

Caramel, vanilla, and oak like a typical great bourbon mash bill. Finish has just a touch of spice but a great pour and easy to sip neat.

Merlin Shockley 4.5

It distinctly has a birthday cake flavor and a hint of oakiness. The finish is almost wine-like.

Ryann Lombardo 4.8

Smell: caramel, chocolate, very fragrant Flavor: intricate, full, distinctive, peppery
