An excellent bottle. The aroma is rich and sweet, reminiscent of melted caramel and vanilla, with a subtle smokiness from tobacco and a hint of spice. The taste is rich and smooth, with caramel and vanilla leading, followed by a pleasant, not overpowering, oak note. The finish is sweet before the bourbon's full character emerges, leaving a long, satisfying warm and spicy sensation. It's a fine choice to drink without anything added.

This is a highly complex bourbon. I appreciate the sweet oak, tobacco, vanilla, and honey flavors. A perfect balance and a fantastic pour. Reportedly, this was Fred B. Noe’s favorite from the Hardin Creek releases.
A smooth and rounded entry, with a substantial mid-palate of flavors including baking spice, caramel, toasted nuts, and mild oak. A warming bourbon that evokes leisurely summer days.
