Herbal yet sweet aroma, with light fruitiness. Reminds me of Penna Rye. Gentle sweetness, herbaceous, and I detect a vinous flavor like California raisins. A long finish with dark fruit and rye notes. Definitely superior to Overholt, a fantastic revival of the PA brand. For a minimum of two years and 80 proof, this is excellent.
