Old Elk Straight Wheat Whiskey (El Cerrito Liquor)

An unusual finish. Not bad, just distinct. Perhaps leather and oats on the nose. Very smooth and oily. I'd drink it again, but not if a better-known brand was available for the same price:-)

A gift from a friend. Presents a pleasant, light honey-floral aroma. It's fairly sweet, with hints of pepper and ester-like clove. The palate is smooth and dense.

Incredibly smooth with abundant honey and fruit. Hints of nuts and oak. The barrel strength provides a satisfying punch and a medium-long finish.
