Okanagan Spirits Laird of Fintry

Aroma: Butterscotch, maple, vanilla. Touches of butter and white chocolate are also detected. There's an intriguing and unexpected brininess to the smell. Taste: Quite rich at first with abundant vanilla. Maple is present but not in the typical Canadian whisky style. Following this, some spice emerges, completing the tasting experience. Finish: Lasts a moderate amount of time. Notes of milk chocolate and tobacco. The malt remains with faint hints of sour beer. Overall, this whisky presents as young. Nevertheless, it possesses a great flavor profile and significant promise. I'm eager to sample future, more mature versions and will certainly plan to acquire some of these upcoming releases!

The scent is full of rich dried fruits like raisins and apricot with a touch of vanilla sweetness and a faint beeswax note. The taste features dark fruits, and the European oak makes a strong appearance on the finish with a burst of spice. It seems more mature than its age suggests. Tasted Lot 5, Bottled 2018.

From the 2019 batch. The youthful exuberance is apparent, yet complexity exists beyond its age. An outstanding flavor profile with a pleasing conclusion. Absolutely worth acquiring if possible.

All of this distilleries whiskies tastes like drinking a "Boreal Forest" scented candle. I've had their Rye, this one and the Rum finish and they all have this tree sap flavor that just doesn't work for me.

The aroma features cherry and caramel sweetness with added woodiness, while the palate brings banana cream. It's sweet, rich, and enjoyable.

Abundant vanilla, raisins, and caramel notes with a spice-like kick. A very good Canadian whiskey.
