Tasted neat: the aroma presents medicinal cleaning alcohols, stewed blueberries, and a peculiar savory note reminiscent of hoisin sauce. The palate is more subdued: a pleasant cooked berry sweetness, charred orange peel, and a cinnamon-like spice. A distinctive liqueur, without question – I will need to feature it in some special cocktails.
