About this bottle

The name "Ocho Cientos" references the oldest documented evidence of Sotol, which has been carbon dated to 800 years old. This plant, known as "Desert Spoon," grows in the Chihuahuan desert and requires at least 15 years to mature before it is harvested. The añejo expression is twice distilled in small copper pot stills and aged for 15 to 17 months in barrels that previously held George Dickel Tennessee whiskey.
