I've been a fan of Oban for some time and was eager to try this. I was not let down. A distinctive combination of dried fruit, salt, chocolate, and leather, with a prominent sherry influence. It skillfully navigates its complexity, successfully balancing the sharp saltiness I associate with Oban while introducing fruit and sherry nuances. It's smooth, light, crisp, and fruity. A very good pour.

Sweet with caramel undertones, a slightly salty finish. A well-rounded whisky!
Tastes of sea salt. Sweet like candy. The flavor persists for a long time.
