About this bottle
Extra Marriage is a special release celebrating the 40th anniversary of Nikka Whisky From the Barrel, a well-known blend initially created by Takeshi Taketsuru, the nephew and adopted son of Nikka's founder, Masataka Taketsuru. Consistent with the original, this expression blends over 100 batches of malt and grain whiskies, primarily from Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. The blended whiskies, however, undergo an additional six-month maturation period in used puncheon casks, double the duration of the original. Production is limited to 6,900 bottles, available in select US regions starting November 2025. (SRP $69.99/500ml)
