Nikka All Malt Whisky

A robust, blended Japanese whiskey from Nikka, crafted with malt from Yoichi and a mix of malt and Coffey Still spirit from Miyagikyou. It begins with notes of vanilla, cream, and a subtle hint of cocoa; while its development introduces the signature Nikka "oily," malty, and rich texture with a touch of orange zest and ripe apple, leading to a prolonged and smooth finish. This is essentially Nikka from the Barrel, but significantly less interesting. I favor Nikka from the Barrel, Nikka Taketsuru, or even Nikka Coffey Grain, though the latter isn't a personal favorite.

A spicy vanilla aroma, akin to smelling pure vanilla extract. Sweet on the tongue, but it has a spicy kick in the aftertaste. Adding a small amount of water provides some improvement.

Oak-forward on the palate, leaving a sharp warmth. The flavor profile includes hints of vanilla or coconut, with overall sweetness. It has a smooth texture and a creamy feel.

It stings. Like gasoline. Very faint, but it just tastes cheap and awful, similar to inexpensive Thai whisky.

Uninteresting, it's quite smooth but too alcoholic, likely very young. Far from pure malts.
