Quite intriguing. I'm not very experienced with Gin but am working on improving. I almost detect basil and mint along with a very faint hint of baker's chocolate. The lingering taste is less pleasant, with a chemical residue.
This gin has a grounded flavor profile, with distinct oak characteristics coming from its time in a bourbon barrel. It's not very floral, instead featuring more prominent vanilla and spice notes that overshadow the juniper. I found it quite pleasing.
This is my preferred gin for sipping. I typically drink it straight or sometimes over ice. The bourbon barrels impart a sweeter profile and make it more agreeable for casual sipping.
My top Gin pick ever. I'm a bourbon fan, and I appreciate the bourbon-like finish. It's very light and refreshing. I could drink this daily.
I'm not a big fan of gin. I had hoped the barrel aging would improve it.
