About this bottle
Alchemy Distillery, located in northern California, began production in December 2015. Their custom Vendome copper-still is designed to highlight local grains. For this genever, a hard red wheat from a third-generation Oregon farmer is used. The distillate is infused with juniper berries, star anise, cassia bark, cubeb berries, citrus, and fresh green-needle tips from native redwood trees on the distillery's property, among other botanicals. This batch was rested in oak barrels for 63 days and released in August 2016, currently only available in California.
