New Holland Walleye Run Malted Rye Whiskey

A rye that goes down smoothly. Big flavors of sweet green apple and caramel dominate. Spice and citrus appear at the end. It's not intensely spicy, but it's noticeable. This doesn't offer much depth. The body is somewhat light. Not much flavor remains on the tongue. Still, it's a good, sweet rye.

The malting process adds significant sweetness to this rye. I really appreciate this less intense rye.

Quite sweet. Excellent for the cost.

Noticeable pleasant sweetness and young fruit notes.
