At first, I didn't get much from the nose. Some sweet and saltiness, but couldn't pick out anything distinct. This would change after a few sips, where I started to notice more fruit notes. After the initial lackluster nose, the flavors came through on the first sip. There's an initial note of dark malt and grape. Really unique dark berry notes are coming through before some heavy spices come through. It finishes on some mint. Not overpowering, but refreshing. Then some apple, caramel and malts round it out. It's unique. Not necessarily complex, but the changes flavors are evident throughout, and there's enough there to keep it as a consistent pour.

Enjoyable wheat character. I will not, however, purchase a bottle.
