Chateau de Ravignan, a historic castle, is located in the Bas-Armagnac region. Grape cultivation began in 1732 on grounds now surrounding a 16th-century church. This estate, seemingly untouched by time, produces brandies that reflect a noble heritage dating back to Louis XIV. Due to the estate's long history, its armagnacs are matured gradually in a cool, damp cellar, allowing for a slow reduction in alcohol content over nearly three decades in barrel. With an annual production of fewer than 4,000 bottles, this is a truly artisanal product.
