The development is gradual, with a subtle prune note emerging, followed by woodspice and a blend of black and white pepper. As it airs, the finish reveals a burst of caramel and barley sugar, accompanied by the hum of woodspice, some sweet but oxidizing wine, and a hint of sweet feed reminiscent of a stable. Truly a remarkable dram! It's not a spirit people actively seek out, but in my experience, it represents exceptional value.
