An easily sipped Canadian whisky with typical notes from the Highwood region. Compared to the 21 centennial, it's harsher but offers more forward flavor with a bit more spice and intensity. I thought it was higher than 40% ABV on the first sip. It's worth trying, but given the similar prices, I'd prefer to get the 15 or 20-year-old if available. At $34 CAD, I believe there are better options on the market, like Bearface, or even Gibson's 12 or Lot 40, which would give this a run for its money at that price. Now, if it were $25, we'd be having a different conversation.
