Smell: Primarily grain upfront, sweet sugar, dark fruit, chocolate, and a touch of creme brulee. Palate: A salty sensation initially, toasted grains, vanilla, chocolate, and a slightly spicy, peppery finish. Overall: I highly enjoy this whiskey and plan to buy another bottle soon. I'm not an expert in American single malt whiskey, but this is a fantastic introduction!
