This was not what I anticipated at all. It's almost like a liqueur, with the honeycomb on the nose and palate being quite prominent. The origin in Indiana suggests MGP. 'American whiskey' is a very broad term and can include spirits like Seven Crowns, which is 75% neutral grain spirit (I actually enjoy it), so it's unclear what's in this. It's certainly not bourbon. However, like the Motörhead vodka, the bottle itself is worth the purchase.
