Mortlach 2008 10 Year Un-chillfiltered Collection (Signatory)

Aged 13 years. The nose features a tropical fruit medley and powdered vitamins. It has a soft yet full mouthfeel. Flavors include underripe banana, gritty ash, vegetal mezcal with vanilla, and minerals and pepper in a moderate finish. A unique distillate.

Smooth and simple to sip. My score would likely be better had I not sampled it alongside the 16 year old.
