About this bottle

Local dairy farmers, including the distillery's own, supply the whey used as a base for Minke Irish Gin. Rock samphire, also known as sea fennel, is its prominent botanical. The gin is named for the Minke whale, which journeys along the Atlantic Ocean coast near the County Cork distillery.

Diamond Doran 4.3

A soft mouthfeel with a citrus greeting on the entry. As it develops, there are some high notes of juniper and spice. The florality comes in at the tail end, with the lavender adding a cooling effect. Overall, this is a friendly and mild gin that is perfect for a G&T or a tropical forward cocktail.

Vern Carroll 4.0
