Midleton Very Rare 2015

The 2015 Midleton Very Range gives off much more pot still character, along with extra spicy, oaky notes compared to earlier versions. This bottle features the signature of the recent Master Distiller. Nose: Vibrant, fruity, and packed with ester aromas. Taste: Bold and richly flavored, possibly with a greater pot still content than previously. Sweet citrus and pineapple notes quickly transition to a peppery spice with hints of cloves, ginger, cinnamon, and vanilla. Finish: Exceptionally long, with the intricate flavors persisting right to the end.

Superior to 22, but not as rich and full-bodied as Barry Crocket 22. Quite similar to Redbreast 21. Purchased in Prague.
