About this bottle

The 2009 release of Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve consists of mature pot-still whiskeys matured in ex-bourbon barrels that have been used previously. Cash Damico 2.0

Expensive and unremarkable, even lacking in flavor. Perhaps the bottle I sampled had been open too long, as I can't agree with the official tasting notes. Mostly, I was annoyed at the bartender who let me order this when I could have had a good Scotch or Cognac for the same price.

Cynthia Lu 4.0

Very well-rounded, similar to regular Jameson but far more refined. Very oily, it grew on me as I drank it.

Scott Hartman 5.0

My all-time favorite.
