Nose: hints of leather (pleasant), syrupy pancakes, butterscotch. Palate: syrupy pancakes are noticeable, toffee, with some leather appearing towards the end. Finish: the syrupy flavors linger for a long time. Drinks smoothly for its proof. Overall: I purchased this bottle while on the bourbon trail with a friend. It was awesome to bottle and label it myself, along with the case. It's a dark whiskey with a bold and balanced profile that I enjoy from this brand.
