About this bottle
The 2024 iteration of Michter's 10 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye is slated for May 2024. Produced in the "Kentucky-style," its mash bill features a higher proportion of corn and malted barley alongside the majority rye, differing from many ryes made in Indiana and Canada. Master Distiller Dan McKee and Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson selected the barrels for this release. As with all Michter's spirits, this bottling is allocated and will be available at select US retailers starting in May 2024, with limited quantities designated for export markets.

A really enjoyable rye. The aroma has caramel and spice. Flavors include cloves, cinnamon, and mint. The spice is balanced by the high corn content in the mash bill, and that touch of sweetness is quite appealing.
Nose: Perfect score, smells of honeysuckle, dirt, and flowers, like a freshly mown lawn in spring. Palate: Very good. Sweet, fragrant grass.
Good. Quite pleasant flavor, with a touch of spice.
