Mi Familia Flores Reposado Tequila

An elegant agave spirit from Nom1459 in Amatitan, Jalisco, Mexico, made with Tequilana Weber and local deep well water. It was cooked in an autoclave, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and twice distilled in stainless steel pot stills. It was aged in American oak for two months before being bottled at 80 proof. The aroma has notes of cooked agave, wood, earth, citrus, and spices, while a slightly creamy character adds notes of caramelized fruits. It leads to a balanced, medium-length finish with a hint of oak and vanilla. February / March 2022 / April 2023. A spiced cookie finish that I don't recall from before. July 2025.
