I detect Payday candy on the nose prominently, with nuttiness. The finish begins in the mouth but ceases immediately after; there's no lingering warmth. It doesn't strike me as a hot finish. It's certainly distinct from typical rye, but worth trying.
Nose of caramel, citrus, oak, brown butter. On the palate, notes of summer citrus, black pepper, toffee, cocoa, vanilla bean. Lingering finish of black pepper, oak, brown butter.
