Vanilla, fruity, and rye notes are present. Exceptionally smooth and not overly spicy for a rye, just enough for good balance. It has a nice blend of spice and sweetness, making it a suitable first rye for someone who typically drinks bourbon.

Currently my preferred Rye from Maryland. I'm amazed at how smooth this goes down for a 2-year-old. The information states they are aging it in a 30-gallon barrel with a mash bill of 75% Rye, 20% Wheat, and 5% Corn.
The aroma has sweet caramel, dark berries, and baking spices. The flavor is sweet and rich, with hints of Christmas pudding, clove, banana, and vanilla. It's smooth and well-balanced!
Incredibly smooth. It possesses significantly less black pepper than a typical rye, concluding instead with delightful dark fruit and caramel notes.
Not unpleasantly sharp like some other ryes. It's sippable! Nice sweetness.
Pleasant; however, ultimately just adequate—the alcohol flavor is too pronounced.
