About this bottle
This particular bottling is crafted using 100% peated Scottish malted barley, similar to the standard McCarthy's Single Malt. However, it matures for six years in Oregon oak, twice the aging period of the original. It is presented at 100 proof.

Quite good - hints of sweetness atop a standard barley whiskey flavor, perhaps a touch darker - the finish is a little harsh but the flavor lingers.
