About this bottle
Founders Paul and Jacine Rutasikwa established Matugga Distillers in England before relocating to Scotland in 2018. The production utilizes molasses derived from east African sugarcane, and the spirit undergoes triple distillation in a 200-liter copper pot still. This spiced rum incorporates a Masala chai blend featuring black tea, fresh ginger, Scottish honey, and other natural botanicals.
