About this bottle
Brothers Jim and John Ewen launched Dark Matter Distillers in May 2011. Jim's inspiration for creating his own rum arose from a vacation he took to the Dominican Republic. The distillery introduced its inaugural rum four years later, marking the first known rum production in Scotland. This rum, crafted from molasses, is bottled at 40% ABV.
