Mars The Lucky Cat Choco

I've had this open for about a week, and it's down to the shoulder. The color is a deep, rich auburn, possibly the most red whiskey I've seen. It has good legs. The aroma is difficult for me to describe; it's faintly floral and like red wine. Considering the nose and color, I suspect it was finished in red wine casks. The taste is very pleasant, reminiscent of spicy root beer and cherry cola. It has a light mouthfeel with minimal presence in the mid-palate, followed by a very nice, long, spicy cinnamon finish. It's not complex, but it's very enjoyable and distinctive.
