Manifest Whiskey Project

I'm genuinely perplexed by the positive reviews. One of the few drinks I've poured down the drain immediately in the last 15 years. The nose has drywall and what I imagine to be some kind of industrial adhesive mixed with young oak. The palate is equally unpleasant. Fortunately, I only wasted $40.

The negative reviews are completely incorrect. This is a consistently excellent bottle that is largely overlooked. It's smooth, with caramel and minimal spice.

Consumed neat: Similar to another reviewer's experience, I don't understand the high ratings. This is harsh! Smells of rubbing alcohol, vanilla, and oak, with more intense alcohol notes.
