Nose: Rye bread, musty grain dust, sawdust, hint of maple. Palate: Musty cereal, sweet note, licorice, drying oak tannins, dried Mandarin peel. Finish: Warming spice, licorice, dill, more drying oak. This is a Single Barrel Seelbach pick #2.
The aroma presents baking spices, banana bread, and malted chocolate. The palate offers cola and caramel, leading to a finish of cola, coffee, and caramel.
Smooth and delightful, with a perfect balance of spice and notes of oak and citrus.
The aroma is ethanol forward. It has warming spice and cherry extract notes. Quite pleasant.
