Mackmyra Moment Karibien

Aroma: Dried fruit, nutty/almond. Taste: Chocolate, vanilla, orchard fruit. Lingering finish: Dried fruit, rum-soaked raisins, ginger, leather. Abundant sweet, toasted wood. Matured in 75% rum casks from Barbados and Jamaica and 25% Oloroso sherry casks. Enjoyable, offering a rather unique profile from the rum casks, which provides an interesting change. It's not for continuous sipping, but it's easy to drink.

Just a small sample taste, but this was delightful. Sweet rum with a hint of Sherry character. A nice touch of spice and warmth from the 44% ABV.

Aroma: apple, cinnamon, and a hint of cherry. Flavor: smooth yet slightly spicy, with more cherry present.
