Tasted the 2022. Not recommended for novice scotch drinkers. This is a highly complex expression. At 52.5% abv, there's noticeable sharpness. Tried both neat and with a little water. Once the initial burn subsides, neat is the superior way to enjoy it. Light brownish-golden color. Nose: Sherry, chocolate, vanilla, candied nuts, ruby red grapefruit, and light spice. Taste: Caramel or crème brûlée, nuts, sponge cake, and pepper emerge. Sweet and creamy with some spice. Happy with the purchase but prefer both 12-year-olds and the 15-year-old.

I sampled the 2022 batch, and while I don't know how different it is, it's delicious! The aroma is weak, the flavor is nice, and the finish is gentle with a long aftertaste - quite enjoyable. It's fruity, fresh, and sharp.
The nose has a distinctive aroma.
