This version has less sharpness than the 15-year-old, but its flavors and taste are more intricate while remaining well-balanced. It feels denser and richer in the mouth. Prominent notes of vanilla, honey, chocolate, and coffee are present, along with hints of baked peaches and spices, notably nutmeg, and of course, a lasting woody note from the oak.
