Launched in the late summer of 2019, Los Vecinos del Campo Ensamble No. 1 Mezcal joins the brand's Espadín Mezcal, which was introduced in late 2018. This blend features 90% espadín, 5% barril, and 5% madrecuishe agaves. The Los Vecinos del Campo brand is produced by ten families of mezcaleros in the Valles Centrales region of Oaxaca, utilizing locally grown agaves and artisanal methods. It is bottled at 90 proof.

Incredibly smooth and easy to drink. It would likely be lost in cocktails but is perfect for sipping straight. Strangely viscous, leading me to suspect glycerin additives, but enjoyable nonetheless.
