Years ago, around age 22 or 23, I used to drink this when I knew nothing about whisky. Now, with much more experience across various whisky types, I decided to try this brand again. Upon the first taste: astonishing, I actually chose to drink this back then? The aroma is mostly alcohol (the 'disinfectant' description is quite accurate). The taste is heavily alcohol-dominated, not in the 'alcohol heat' way like other whiskies, but more like rubbing alcohol. It actually brought to mind inexpensive Brazilian cachaça. That's acceptable for cachaça, but not for whisky. The finish offered just a faint hint of sweetness, like a brief glimpse out of the corner of your eye. I added a little water, hoping to reduce the alcohol and reveal other flavors. The water did slightly soften the 'disinfectant' taste, but nothing else emerged. I tried mixing it with Coke, which made it more drinkable, but the harsh alcohol flavor persisted in the finish. On a brighter note, it does seem to pair well with lemonade (akin to a whisky sour), so at least I have a way to finish the bottle without discarding it.

This is the most popular whisky in Sweden, so I felt compelled to try it. It's awful! The alcohol is overpowering, and the only other flavor I detect is a burnt taste. It's very inexpensive, which must be the sole reason for its sales. I have no idea what to do with the remainder of the bottle; perhaps clean engine parts? Drinking it is not an option.

Britney Gilbert 3.0

A surprising banana aroma, with mild rye mixed with disinfectant, subtle leather, and wood notes. The body is fruity banana and rye, with hints of caramel and cinnamon. It has a viscous, silky mouthfeel and a burn that quickly grows and stays. The finish has a light burn of caramel, rye, and fruity banana.

This has a very faint aroma; I detect the alcohol more than anything else. The flavor is similar, with a lack of presence. It tastes somewhat diluted. 1.5

Millicent Zhao 2.0

Sweet, fruity, and light. Quite easy to consume, though I prefer a bolder whiskey experience.

Casey Hankins 3.0

Quite smooth, with notes of caramel and sweet alcohol.
