A straightforward, pure malt character. Aromas of grain, subtle vanilla, and a hint of fruit. The earthy, botanical scent is quite agreeable. A gentle warmth carries the malt onto the palate. The moderately long conclusion is smooth, leaving a pleasant sweetness that nicely caps off the night. This has me keen to explore more independent bottlings of Longmorn. While they carry a higher cost, the superior character of this spirit and malt is obvious.
