About this bottle
First available in December 2017, this whisky spent 50 years maturing, having been distilled in 1967. It initially matured in American oak hogsheads before an 18-year secondary maturation in a European oak cask that previously held sherry. Packaged in 60 hand-blown crystal decanters globally, this bottling is at 46.2% ABV. Each decanter is presented in a custom solid oak chest lined with indigo leather, crafted by Scotland's Method Studio.
