It's not often one gets to sample a Linkwood. UCF - confirmed. 46% ABV - confirmed. It's somewhat thin, oily, with notes of green apple and unripe light fruits. Sweet honey reminiscent of mead. The finish is short but contains licorice. It's light and refreshing, though not outstanding. I'd drink it again if offered but likely wouldn't purchase it.

The nose has vanilla cream. It smells like sweetened biscuits, pears, and lager yeast, with a hint of zingy citrus. It has a delicate mouthfeel.
