A little too sugary, and the blackberry flavor can be overwhelming. I'd prefer more malt flavor with other tastes able to come through besides the blackberry.

Blackberry that has been fermented hits the nose. It's extremely sweet, similar to jam. Hints of toast are present. It reminds me of a pastry.
Pleasantly sweet without artificiality. Excellent for slow enjoyment over ice, and even better in mixed drinks.
Dark fruit and molasses notes intermingle with chocolate. A tart berry emerges on the palate, leading to a bourbon-like finish.
It's enjoyable, but I don't detect whiskey characteristics; it reminds me more of wine.
Too much. Tastes almost like Boone's Farm.
